Precious Butterfree

This is what procrastinating for my finals does.

Butterfree has always been one of my favorite Pokemon, though I still have a tough time drawing the wings! Even though it's sort of fragile in combat, there's no denying the usefulness of Compoundeyes and various status effects, plus the ability to use Psychic :3

I tried going for a from-below perspective, not sure if it worked. Rendered the clouds with a cheap-and-easy method... which needs more practice but overall I like how this one turned out.

The name is from Bob Carlisle's song Butterfly Kisses; there's a line that says "precious butterfly, spread your wings and fly".
